| Organic Roots began in
1995 as a herbal and supplement store (Herb’N’Health)
located on Whyte Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta. Herb’N’Health
became an innovator in the area of bulk herbs and essential oils packaged
under the companies brand name; Herb’N’Health.
In the spring of 2002 Herb ‘N’ Health transformed itself into Organic Roots a 14,000 square foot health food grocery store, supplement store, organic restaurant and educational center. Our goal was to create a place for people to gain knowledge, experience, and ingredients at fair prices in order to empower people with the self-responsibility for health. As of December 2007 we have closed down our location at College Plaza. Currently we have moved locations to 10151-82 Avenue where we are offering a full supplement section, small grocery items specializing in gluten free and local products and a small café serving fair trade organic coffee and organic small lunch items. |
